Steps
- Open your Coda document and click the Insert button in the top toolbar to begin connecting to external APIs.
- Search for the API Pack you want to connect with — such as Google, Slack, or Jira — and click it to select.
- Click Try it to explore the API Pack's features and test the connection.
- Open the Buttons feature to add interactive elements that trigger API actions directly from your document.
- Use the Pack buttons to pull data from or send data to your connected external service.
- Browse the available API functions and select the one that matches your workflow needs, such as fetching data or posting updates.
- Click Add a private account to connect your credentials for the external service you are integrating with.
- Authorize the connection when prompted to grant access.
- Fine-tune your API settings by adjusting parameters, endpoints, or authentication details to fit your specific integration needs.
- Verify your integration is working once a notification confirms the successful connection.
