How to Connect Cisco Webex to Slack

This demo shows how to integrate Cisco Webex Meetings with Slack using Zapier by building a Zap that automatically sends a Slack channel message whenever a new Webex meeting is created. It covers every step from creating the Zap to publishing the live connection between both apps.

Steps

1. Hit Create > Zap on the left sidebar to start building a new Zap.
2. Click on the Trigger to define the trigger event for your Zap.
3. Select Cisco Webex Meetings from the listed apps as your trigger app.
4. Select the trigger event as New Meetings.
5. Click on Account to connect your Webex account.
6. Enter your Webex Sitename and login credentials to authenticate.
7. Select your Action event to define what happens after the trigger fires.
8. Search for and select Slack as the action app.
9. Choose Send channel message as the Action for Slack.
10. Connect your Slack account if it is not already connected.
11. Click Publish to activate and establish the Webex–Slack connection.
