This tutorial walks you through building a Zapier automation that sends Buffer analytics data directly to a Notion page whenever a new item is sent. No coding is required — the entire Zap is configured through Zapier's visual editor in under five minutes.
Steps
- Navigate to the left-side panel in Zapier, then tap 'Create'.
- Choose 'Zaps' from the list of options.
- Tap the 'Trigger' tab to start the integration process.
- Search for 'Buffer' and select it from the recommended matches.
- Click the 'Trigger Event' menu to view the available options.
- Pick 'New Sent Item' from the list of trigger event options.
- Tap 'Sign In' and log into your active Buffer account.
- Tap 'Allow' to agree to the terms and grant the necessary permissions.
- Specify your Organization and Channel to configure the Trigger.
- Tap 'Continue' to run your input and test the Trigger.
- Choose the particular record you wish to use, then tap 'Continue With Selected Record'.
- Search for 'Notion' and choose it as the Action app.
- Tap the 'Action Event' menu to proceed further.
- Choose 'Add Content to Page' from the list of action options.
- Click 'Sign In' and log into your Notion account.
- Review the required permissions and click 'Select Pages'.
- Tick the checkbox beside your target Notion page and click 'Allow Access'.
- Fill out the input fields with the required information one by one.
- For the Content field, tap its corresponding 'Add' button.
- Select the Buffer analytics data you wish to connect to Notion.
- Click 'Continue' to publish and enable the integration.
- Your Buffer analytics will now be automatically connected and sent to Notion based on your configuration.
