This demo shows how to connect Asana project management with Zapier to automate task updates and trigger actions in other apps. By building a Zap, teams can eliminate manual handoffs and keep tools like Slack in sync whenever an Asana task changes.
Steps
- From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to start building a new automation.
- Click on the Trigger field to choose the event that starts your Zap.
- Select Asana as the trigger app.
- Click Updated Task as the trigger event.
- Log in to your Asana account and authorize Zapier to access it.
- Select the specific project or workspace to monitor and click Continue.
- Click Test trigger to verify Zapier can pull in live Asana data.
- Choose the action app to automate and click on it.
- Connect the action app account to Zapier.
- Add the Channel Name and click Continue to configure the action.
- Click Test step to confirm the action runs correctly.
- Click Publish to activate your Zap and go live.
