Quick summary
Notion does not have a built-in recurring events feature, but you can simulate one by creating a reusable event template and using the Repeat option to set a recurrence frequency directly from your Notion calendar.
Steps
- Open a calendar page in Notion to begin adding recurring events.
- Click the (+) icon on the day you want the recurring event to start.
- In the new event pop-up, create a template that will serve as your recurring event base.
- Edit the template with the desired event details and settings.
- Use the top-left back button to return to the main event page.
- Hover over the newly created template to reveal its options.
- Click the three dotted icon on the right side to open the template menu.
- Select Repeat from the options menu.
- Choose how frequently the event should repeat (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
- Customize your recurring event settings and click Save.
- Click on the recurring template to add it as an event on any calendar day.
- Customize the individual event as needed, then click outside it to return to the calendar.
- Your recurring event is now saved and will appear across your Notion calendar.
