This demo shows how to add another W-2 to your TurboTax tax return by navigating the Federal Income menu and manually entering your employer and wage details. Follow these steps to ensure all your W-2 forms are accurately recorded before filing.
Steps
- Go to the Federal menu to begin adding another W-2 to your tax return.
- Select Income from the Federal menu.
- Navigate to Wages and Salaries (W-2) and click Review.
- Click Add Another W-2 to begin entering your additional income.
- Type in your Employer Identification Number (EIN) from Box b on your W-2 — a 9-digit number formatted XX-XXXXXXX.
- Click Type it in myself to manually enter your W-2 details.
- Enter your employer's name exactly as it appears on your W-2 form.
- Enter the employee information in the required fields.
- Review all entered information and click Continue to save the W-2.
