How to Add a Countdown Timer in Klaviyo

Steps

  1. Head to Sign-up forms in your Klaviyo dashboard to begin building your countdown timer.
  2. Click on Poll — this is where the countdown timer element will be added.
  3. Select Edit Form to open the customization interface for your poll.
  4. Click Add blocks to view all available elements you can insert into your form.
  5. Select the Countdown timer element from the blocks list.
  6. Specify the end date for your promotion — the moment when the clock should hit zero.
  7. Click to select the exact day as your offer's expiration date.
  8. Set the exact hour when your timer will expire.

  10. Select an animation style for your countdown timer display.
  11. Choose how your countdown numbers and text will be displayed (e.g., Simple text).
  12. Adjust the text color and size to make your countdown stand out.

  14. Click Publish to make your countdown timer live and start driving urgency immediately.
