Dropbox lets you recover deleted files directly from the web app by navigating to the Deleted files section and clicking Restore. Files are recoverable for up to 30 days on personal plans, and longer for Dropbox Business users.
Steps
- Sign in to your account on the Dropbox website.
- Click Home in the sidebar, then select Deleted files from the options.
- Browse through the list of deleted files to find the file you want to recover.
- Click on the file, then click the Restore button to recover it.
- Select Restore again to confirm the restoration.
- Note: deleted files are recoverable for 30 days (or longer for Dropbox Business users), so act within that timeframe.
