This demo walks you through building a Zapier automation that connects Gumroad and MailerLite, so every new sale automatically adds or updates a subscriber in your email list. No manual data entry required — your email marketing list stays in sync every time a customer makes a purchase.
Steps
- Log in to Zapier and click Create then Zaps to begin building your automation.
- Click Trigger to set up the event that starts your Zap.
- Search for Gumroad in the app search and select it as your trigger app.
- Select Sale as the trigger event to capture each new purchase from your Gumroad store.
- Connect your Gumroad account, select the product to monitor, then run a test to confirm the trigger works.
- Click Action and search for MailerLite to add it as your action app.
- Select an action event such as Create or Update Subscriber to add Gumroad customers to your email list.
- Connect your MailerLite account when prompted to authorize the integration.
- Map Gumroad purchase data — including email, name, and product purchased — to the corresponding MailerLite subscriber fields and groups.
- Run a test to verify that Gumroad sales data is properly syncing with your MailerLite account.
- Click Publish to activate your Zap and go live.
