Automate Ghost Membership with Stripe through Zapier

This demo shows how to automate Ghost membership creation by connecting Stripe payment triggers to Ghost via a Zapier Zap, eliminating manual member onboarding. Once configured, every new Stripe payment or customer automatically creates a corresponding Ghost member without any manual intervention.

Steps

1. Log in to Zapier, click "Create", and select "Zaps" to begin building your automation.
2. Click "Trigger" to start configuring the trigger step of your Zap.
3. Search for Stripe in the app search field and select it as the trigger app.
4. Choose a trigger event such as "New Payment" or "New Customer" to define what activates the Zap.
5. Connect your Stripe account and select the appropriate settings such as payment or subscription plan.
6. Add Ghost as the Action App to handle what happens after the trigger fires.
7. Select an action event such as "Create Member" to define what Ghost should do.
8. Connect Ghost, map Stripe fields, run a test, and click "Publish" to activate your Zap.
