Quick summary
This tutorial shows how to view Epics in Jira by navigating to the Backlog and enabling the Epic Panel through View Settings. Once enabled, Epics appear in a dedicated panel where you can select them to filter associated issues instantly.
Steps
- Head over to the Backlogs section in the left navigation pane.
- Click on View Settings on the right side of the screen and enable the Epic Panel.
- Your Epics will now appear on the left side of the Backlog — if no Epic exists, you can create one from this panel.
- Click on the Epic tile to select it.
- The issues associated with the selected Epic will be automatically filtered for viewing.
