How to View Comments in Adobe Acrobat

Use this interactive demo to learn how to view comments in your Adobe Acrobat documents.

‍

‍

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to view comments in Adobe Acrobat:

‍

  1. Open your PDF in Adobe Acrobat.
  2. On the right-side pane, click Comments.
  3. Click the specific Comment you want to view.
  4. Click Close to exit Comment options.

📌 Why this matters

Viewing comments lets you track feedback, suggestions, and revisions from collaborators without losing context about their intent. Comments often contain critical details that don't make it into the final document—like reasoning behind changes, alternative approaches, or clarifications about complex sections.

When you're working with legal documents, technical specifications, or creative projects, these annotations preserve the decision-making process and help you address feedback systematically rather than hunting through highlighted text trying to guess what reviewers meant.
