Quick summary
This demo shows how to verify an email address in Salesforce by configuring the Email-to-Case feature through Advanced Setup. Admins can complete the full email verification process in just a few steps directly from the Salesforce dashboard.
Steps
- Click the gear icon at the top-right menu of the Salesforce dashboard.
- Select Open Advanced Setup from the dropdown menu.
- In the Quick Find search box, search for and select Email-to-Case.
- Click New to create a new email routing address.
- Enter the email destination and all other required details in the form.
- Once done, click Save to confirm your settings.
- Salesforce will send a verification email — confirm it by clicking the link sent to your email address.
