How to Use Notion AI

Follow any one of three ways to use Notion AI in your app

Highlight

• Highlight any text and select Ask AI from the pop-up menu.
• Type a prompt for the AI or choose actions from the options such as Fix spelling and grammar.
• The AI results will be displayed with additional options to continue such as Replace and Discard.
• Select the desired option and click.
• The selected option will be applied.

Slash command

• Type /ai anywhere to open the Notion AI menu.
• Select your desired option such as Summary.
• Depending upon your chosen action, an AI block will be inserted with additional options to select such as Generate.
• Notion AI will then perform the action and in this example generate a summary of the page.

Space key

Press the space key on any empty line to open the Notion AI menu.
