How to Use Heatmaps on Your Landing Page

Here’s a quick guide on heatmaps for landing pages and how it gives you better visibility of website visitors' behavior:

  1. Head over to your heatmaps account Heatmaps on the left sidebar and select a device type.
  2. To get started, Create a Conditional Screenshot.
  3. Look for red boxes around elements (auto-rectangles)
  4. These are automatically identified as areas that had interactions.
  5. You get key signals like: Clicks, Purchases, Revenue generation, Visibility, etc.
  6. The faint dots are the areas visitors interacted with.
  7. You also get the stats for the Images present on your page. This helps you optimize for image placements on your key pages.
  8. Likewise, you also get stats for Buttons. it helps you go deep down to find out the conversions and purchases as well.
