The Salesforce Data Import Wizard lets you upload records in bulk directly from your settings without needing a developer. You can import data for standard objects like contacts or leads by selecting a file format, mapping fields, and starting the import in just a few clicks.
Steps
- Click your profile in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
- Click Settings.
- In the left menu, go to Import and select Data Import Wizard.
- Click Launch Wizard! to open the import tool.
- Choose the objects you want to import.
- Select which record to add the imported data to.
- Click Next to proceed.
- Choose a data format to upload.
- Modify other settings, then click Next.
- Click Next again to proceed to the final step.
- Click Start Import to begin the data upload.
- Wait for a notification once your data upload is complete.
