How to Use Coda Templates

Use this interactive demo to learn how to find, apply, and customize pre-built Coda templates.

Quick summary

Coda's Templates Gallery lets you instantly create structured documents for project management, goal tracking, and CRM without starting from scratch. Once a template is added to your workspace, you can customize tables, invite collaborators, and share the document with your team.


Steps

  1. Open Coda in your browser and click Templates.
  2. Navigate to the Templates Gallery to browse a library of pre-built templates for project management, goal tracking, and CRM.
  3. Select a template that suits your needs and click Use template to create a customized document instantly.
  4. A new Coda document is created based on your chosen template and added to your workspace.
  5. Modify the tables and data in the template to fit your specific project requirements.
  6. Customize further by adding new rows, changing column types, or creating new tables as needed.
  7. Click Share in the top-right corner to invite teammates or collaborators to the document.
  8. Click Copy link to share your document seamlessly with teammates or external stakeholders.
