How to Use 1Password on Chrome

Use this interactive demo to learn how to use 1Password on Chrome.

This tutorial shows how to save a login and autofill your credentials on a return visit using the 1Password Chrome extension.

Note: The 1Password Chrome extension must be installed and signed in. If you haven't set that up yet, see How to Add 1Password to Chrome first.

Open Chrome and go to any sign-in page - for example, trello.com/login. Enter your username and password in the corresponding fields.
When 1Password detects the fields, click "Save in 1Password" in the prompt that appears.
Confirm the item name and vault in the save dialog, then click "Save" to save your login.
Sign out of the page, then navigate back to the same sign-in page.
When the 1Password icon appears above the username field, click “Sign in.”1Password fills in your username and password automatically. You can repeat the process to add more passwords with a different login website.
