Quick summary
Salesforce's Data Import Wizard lets you upload leads in bulk from a CSV file directly through your account settings. The process takes just a few clicks — from launching the wizard to starting the import and waiting for a completion notification.
Steps
- Click your profile in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
- Click 'Settings'.
- In the left menu, go to Import and select 'Data Import Wizard'.
- Click 'Launch Wizard!'.
- Choose Leads as the object to import.
- Select 'Add new records', then click 'Next'.
- Choose CSV as the file format to upload.
- Modify other settings as needed, then click 'Next'.
- Click 'Next' again to proceed.
- Select 'Start Import' to begin the import.
- Wait for a notification confirming your leads import is complete.
