How to Turn on Critical Path in Microsoft Project

Here’s how to do it:

1. First, open your Microsoft Project file and make sure you're in the 'Gantt Chart' view.
2. Click on the 'Format' tab under the 'Gantt Chart Tools' contextual tab in the ribbon.
3. Find and check the box labeled 'Critical Tasks' to highlight your project's critical path.
4. Your critical path tasks now appear in red on the Gantt chart, showing which tasks directly impact your project's end date.
