How to Track Social Media Analytics on Sprout Social

Use this interactive demo to learn how to view and export social media analytics reports in Sprout Social.

Quick summary

Sprout Social's Reports section lets you track social media analytics — including Profile Performance and Post Performance — across multiple accounts in one place. You can apply filters, segment data by social profile, and export reports as CSV for deeper analysis.


Steps

  1. Click on Reports in the left sidebar menu.
  2. Select the specific analytics report you want to view, such as Profile Performance or Post Performance.
  3. Scroll through the left sidebar to pick the performance metric you are tracking.
  4. Hit Filters and narrow down your report parameters.
  5. Click on Share and hit Download CSV to export your data for further analysis.
  6. Choose your social profile from the selector to view specific account data.
