Use this interactive demo to learn how to check spam scores using SendGrid's Deliverability Insights.

Quick summary

SendGrid's Deliverability Insights lets you monitor spam reports and unsubscribe rates across custom date ranges to protect your sender reputation. By navigating to the Spam & Unsubscribes tab, you can extract actionable spam score data to improve email deliverability.

Steps

  1. On the SendGrid main dashboard, open the left-side panel and click Stats.
  2. Choose Deliverability Insights from the list of options.
  3. Click the Date Range menu and select one of the available date range options.
  4. Open the Trending menu and pick your desired time interval.
  5. Click the Spam & Unsubscribes tab to view the relevant data.
  6. Review the latest spam reports within your selected date range and extract the spam score from the provided data.

📌 Why this matters

Monitoring spam scores is critical for any business relying on email to reach customers, since high spam rates directly damage sender reputation and reduce inbox delivery rates. SendGrid's Deliverability Insights gives email marketers and developers a centralized view of spam reports and unsubscribes, filtered by custom date ranges and trending intervals. This visibility allows teams to quickly identify problematic sending patterns and take corrective action before blocklisting occurs. For organizations sending transactional or marketing email at scale, proactively testing and tracking spam scores in SendGrid is a foundational step toward maintaining strong email deliverability.
