Tagging someone in Miro lets you mention a teammate inside a board comment using the @ symbol, instantly sending them a notification that links directly to the item you referenced. This is the fastest way to loop in collaborators without leaving your Miro workspace.
Steps
- Open the board's activity panel to review who has recently worked on it.
- Click the comment icon to open the comment input on the board.
- Type your comment and use the @ symbol followed by the person's name or email address to begin a mention.
- From the dropdown menu that appears, select the teammate you want to notify about the specific item.
- Press Enter to confirm the tag — your colleague will receive a notification and can jump straight to where you mentioned them.
