It is very easy to sort rows in Smartsheet. Here’s a quick tutorial on how to do it in simple steps:
- Hover your mouse cursor over the column header you want to edit, then click its corresponding 'Column Menu' button.
- Pick 'Sort Rows' from the list of options.
- After that, click the 'Sort Item By' menu.
- Choose one from the available choices.
- Subsequently, tick the radio button next to your preferred sorting format. You can select 'Ascending' or 'Descending' according to your liking.
- Repeat the same series of steps if you want to add more conditions.
- Once done, click 'OK' to apply the changes.
- After completing these steps, the rows under the selected column will be sorted based on your input.
