Setting up task dependencies in Monday.com allows you to control the order of tasks so one task starts only after another is completed.
- Log in to your Monday.com account and open your workspace dashboard.
- Open the board you want to manage.
- Click the + Add Column button on the right side of your board.
- In the dropdown menu, click "More columns" to browse available types.
- Search for and select the Dependency column from the list, and click Add to board.
- Set up your dependencies between items, then click Save.
- Your tasks will now be linked, ensuring they follow the correct workflow order.
