How to Set Goals in HubSpot

Use this interactive demo to learn how to set goals in HubSpot.

Setting goals in HubSpot allows you to track your team’s performance and measure progress against targets like revenue, deals, or activities.

  1. Log in to your HubSpot account and navigate to your main dashboard.
  2. On the left side panel, click on Reporting, then select Goals from the list.
  3. Click on Create goal button, then select Create from template.
  4. Choose a goal type such as revenue, deals, or activities under goal template.
  5. Start setting up your goal, assign it to specific users or teams, and define your target values under goal settings, then click Next button.
  6. Enter your monthly targets for each pipeline or click Apply Target to distribute them automatically, then click Next.
  7. Select your preferred notification settings by checking the boxes for goal updates, then click Done to proceed.
  8. You’re all set—your goals are now set and ready for tracking.
