‍

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to separate pages in Adobe Acrobat

‍

  1. Open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat.
  2. On the right-side pane, click Organize Pages.
  3. Click Split.
  4. Under Split by, choose Number of pages, File size, or Top-level bookmarks.
  5. Click Output Options to choose where to save the files and to set the file-naming options.
  6. Click OK, then click Split.
  7. Click Close to exit Organize Pages.

📌 Why this matters

Separating PDF pages lets you extract specific sections, share relevant portions without exposing sensitive content, or create focused documents for different audiences. You can pull out individual contracts from a bundle, isolate key pages for review, or break down large reports into digestible sections.

This becomes especially valuable when working with legally sensitive documents or client presentations where you need precise control over what information each recipient sees, rather than sharing entire multi-page files that contain irrelevant or confidential material.
