This demo shows how to automate sending data from Gmail emails into Coda tables using a Zapier Zap. By connecting Gmail as the trigger and Coda as the action, teams can eliminate manual data entry and keep their Coda tables updated automatically.
Steps
- Log in to Zapier, click "Create", and select "Zaps" to begin building your automation.
- Click "Trigger" and search for Gmail as the trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event, such as "New Email" or "New Labeled Email".
- Connect your Gmail account to authorize Zapier access.
- Select the inbox or label you want Zapier to monitor for new emails.
- Click "Test trigger" to verify that Zapier can pull in sample email data.
- Add Coda as the Action App in your Zap.
- Select an action event, such as "Create Row" or "Update Row" in Coda.
- Connect your Coda account to authorize Zapier access.
- Select the target doc and table in Coda where the data should be sent.
- Run a test to confirm the data flows correctly from Gmail into your Coda table.
- Click "Publish" to activate your Zap and start the automation.
