Quick summary
To see pageviews in Mixpanel, you create a new board, add an Insights Report, and select the Page View event as your metric. This gives you a clear, customizable dashboard to monitor website traffic directly inside Mixpanel.
Steps
- From your Mixpanel homepage, click the + New Board button in the left sidebar menu.
- Enter a name for your new board, then click Add a Board to confirm.
- Select Insights Report as the report type to best visualize page view data.
- Under Metrics, click Select Event to choose what to measure.
- Select Page View from the event list.
- Optionally, select a subcategory displayed below the event name to refine your tracking.
- Choose the specific tracking option you wish to monitor more precisely.
- Use the top menu to customize report options such as the timeframe.
- When finished, click Save in the top right corner to save your report.
- Navigate back to your board page to view the saved report.
- Your page views tracking board in Mixpanel is now ready to use.
