Here’s how to do it:
- Let's start by opening your Microsoft Project file. Look for the task that needs its resources adjusted and click to select it.
- Now, double-click on your selected task to open its properties. This will bring up the Task Information dialog box.
- In the Task Information dialog, select 'Resources'.
- From the list of assigned resources, click to select the specific resource you want to remove from this task.
- With the resource selected, simply press the DELETE key on your keyboard.
- Finally, click the "OK" button to confirm and save your changes. The task will now be updated without the removed resource.
