Quick summary
Removing a member from Microsoft Planner is done through the connected Microsoft 365 Group in Outlook, not directly inside Planner. In just a few clicks via the Members tab, you can revoke a user's access and update your team roster instantly.
Steps
- On Outlook's main dashboard, head over to the left-side panel and click 'Go To Groups'.
- Find and select the group connected to your Microsoft Planner.
- Tap the 'Members' tab to proceed.
- Find the member you want to remove and tap the 'Remove Member' button next to their name.
- Click 'Yes' to confirm your removal request.
- The selected member will now be removed from your Microsoft Planner workspace.
