Quick summary
Salesforce dark mode can be enabled natively via the Color Mode (Beta) setting in your profile, or instantly through the Lightning Extension in your browser. Both methods require the feature to be installed and enabled before the dark theme activates across your Salesforce account.
Steps
- Click your profile icon in the top right corner of Salesforce to open your account menu.
- Navigate to Color Mode (Beta) and select Dark to enable dark mode — confirm the feature is enabled in your setup first.
- Alternatively, click the Lightning Extension in the top right of your web browser and enable Dark Mode from there.
- Once installed and enabled via either method, dark mode will activate successfully across your entire Salesforce account.
