Steps
- Navigate to the left-side panel and click 'Create' to start building a new Zap.
- Choose 'Zaps' from the list of options presented.
- Click the 'Trigger' tab to begin configuring the integration's trigger step.
- Search for 'Zeplin' and select it from the recommended matches as your trigger app.
- Specify your preferred 'Trigger Event' — choose the option that matches the design action you want to monitor.
- Click 'Sign In' and log into your active Zeplin account to authenticate the connection.
- Click 'Allow' to agree to the terms and grant the necessary permissions to Zapier.
- Configure the trigger by specifying the 'Project' and 'Events' you wish to use.
- Click 'Continue' to run your input and test the Trigger to confirm it works correctly.
- Select the specific record containing the designs you wish to push, then click 'Continue With Selected Record'.
- Search for 'Slack' and choose it as the Action app for your Zap.
- Open the drop-down menu and pick the specific 'Action Event' you want Slack to perform.
- Click 'Sign In' and log into your Slack account to authenticate it with Zapier.
- Click 'Allow' to accept all required Slack permission requests.
- Fill out the input fields one by one with the information required to configure the Slack action.
- In the 'Text' field, click the 'Add' icon to insert design data pulled directly from Zeplin.
- Browse the list and choose the Zeplin components you want to include in the Slack message.
- Click 'Continue' to publish and enable the integration.
- Your Zeplin designs will now be automatically pushed to Slack based on your configured trigger and action settings.
