Here are the easy and correct ways to move columns in Microsoft Project:
- Open your Microsoft Project file.
- Select the column heading of the column you want to move.
- Then, look for cross arrows in the column. Click on your mouse and hold.
- Once done, slowly drag your mouse to the left and you and already see a dark gray line.
- Once done, slowly drag your mouse to the left. You will see a dark gray line. You can now choose the place where you want to move your column.
