How To Merge Companies in HubSpot

Use this interactive demo to learn how to combine duplicate company records in HubSpot.

Quick summary

Merging company records in HubSpot lets you consolidate duplicate entries into a single, clean profile. This process eliminates data fragmentation and ensures your CRM reflects accurate, unified company information.


Steps

  1. Click on Contacts in the HubSpot navigation menu.
  2. Select Companies from the dropdown to reveal the full companies list.
  3. Click a company record to preview the company you want to merge.
  4. Click on Actions in the top-right area of the company record.
  5. Find and select Merge from the Actions dropdown menu.
  6. Search for and select the secondary company you want to merge in the dropdown.
  7. Hit Merge to combine both company records into one.
  8. Confirm that both company records are now successfully merged.
