‍

  1. On the canvas in the center of the editor, click the table that contains the cells.
  2. Click and drag across the cells in the table on the canvas to select them.
  3. On the floating toolbar, click Merge Cells and you're good to go!

📌 Why this matters

Merging cells lets you create headers that span multiple columns, organize data hierarchically, and build cleaner table layouts for presentations or reports. Beyond basic formatting, merged cells transform rigid table structures into flexible design elements. You can create visual groupings that mirror your actual data relationships, making complex information more intuitive for your audience. This becomes especially powerful when building organizational charts, project timelines, or comparison tables where traditional row-and-column boundaries would fragment the logical flow of information.
