Making a YouTube channel private hides your videos, likes, and subscriptions from public view without deleting your account. You can do this in minutes through YouTube Studio Advanced Settings using the hide my channel option.
Steps
- Go to studio.youtube.com, sign in, and click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar.
- Click Channel, then select the Advanced settings tab.
- Scroll down and click Remove YouTube content.
- Click I want to hide my channel to open the dropdown.
- Check the confirmation box acknowledging that your videos, likes, and subscriptions will be hidden.
- Click Hide my channel to confirm.
