Quick summary
A Notion weekly planner is built by inserting a table block and customizing it with task-specific properties like Date, Status, and Priority. This step-by-step process lets you organize and track tasks by weekday directly inside your Notion workspace.
Steps
- Click a blank space on the Notion page to position your cursor.
- Type /table to open the block menu and search for the table option.
- Click Table view from the block options to insert the table.
- Select New empty data source to create a fresh dataset for your planner.
- Rename the first column to Task to label your task entries.
- Add weekday options — Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — as select values.
- Add a Date property to record the scheduled date for each task.
- Add additional properties such as Status, Priority, or Notes as needed.
- Fill in each task's details and assign the correct day for each entry.
- Your weekly planner is ready in Notion and can be updated throughout the week.
