The Snyk and Jira integration lets development teams surface security vulnerabilities directly inside their Jira projects by installing the Snyk Security in Jira Cloud app and authenticating with a Snyk account. Once connected, security issues detected by Snyk can be tracked and managed as Jira issues without leaving your existing workflow.
Steps
- Navigate to the top menu bar, then click Apps.
- Select Explore More Apps from the list of available options.
- Search for Snyk and select Snyk Security in Jira Cloud from the results.
- Tap Get App at the top-right corner.
- Click Get It Now to confirm the installation.
- Head back to the top-right corner and click Get Started to proceed.
- Click Log In to Your Account and provide your Snyk user credentials.
- Choose the specific Snyk Organization you want to connect to Jira, then click Grant App Access.
- Your Snyk account will be integrated instantly with Jira.
