Quick summary
This guide shows you how to integrate Slack with Beamer using a Zapier Zap, so your team receives automatic Slack notifications whenever new Beamer posts go live. The setup takes just minutes and requires no coding — only access to your Beamer, Zapier, and Slack accounts.
Steps
- Go to your Beamer dashboard and click the puzzle icon to access the integrations panel.
- Locate the Beamer + Slack Zap in the integrations list and click 'Use this Zap' to begin setup.
- Click 'Allow access' to grant Zapier permission to connect to your Beamer account.
- Once Beamer is connected to Zapier, click 'Continue' to proceed to the next configuration step.
- Click 'Test trigger' so Zapier can pull sample data from Slack and confirm the connection is working correctly.
- Select the event you want to use for your action app in the Zap configuration.
- Log in to your Slack account and authorize Zapier to access it.
- Map the data fields from Beamer to Slack, then click 'Continue' to save the field mapping.
- Click 'Test step' to verify the Slack action fires correctly with the mapped Beamer data.

- Click 'Publish' to turn on your Zap and activate the Beamer–Slack integration.
