How to Integrate Monday.com with Telegram

Learn how to connect Monday.com with Telegram to automate notifications and streamline communication between your workflows and chats.

1. Log in to your Zapier account and open your automation dashboard.
2. Click the Create Zap button at the top left of the page.
3. Click the Trigger button and search for Monday.com in the app list.
4. Select Monday.com as the trigger app for your automation.
5. Click Select or Sign in and connect your Monday.com account.
6. Enter your API key when prompted to authorize the connection.
7. To get your API token, open your Monday.com account in a new tab, click your name at the top right corner, and select Developers from the dropdown menu.
8. Open the API token section and copy your token.
9. Choose the trigger event New Item so the Zap runs whenever a new item is created on your board.
10. Start mapping the required details, such as the board and other trigger fields, then click Continue with selected record.
11. Search for and select Telegram as your action app to send messages automatically.
12. Click Sign in to connect your Telegram bot account.
13. Open Telegram and search for BotFather to create your bot token.
14. Click Start to begin chatting with BotFather.
15. Select /newbot to create a new bot for your integration.
16. Give your bot a name, and Copy the API token.
17. Select Send Message so your bot can notify you about new Monday.com items.
18. Map your message content using data from Monday.com to personalize each notification.
19. Click Publish Zap to activate your automation.
