Integrating Monday.com with Notion allows you to automatically send tasks or project data between both platforms so your team can stay organized across tools.
- Log in to your Zapier account and open your automation dashboard.
- Click the Create Zap button at the top left of the page.
- Click the Trigger button and search for Monday.com in the app list.
- Select Monday.com as the trigger app for your automation.
- Click Select or Sign in and connect your Monday.com account.
- Enter your API key when prompted to authorize the connection.
- To get your API token, open your Monday.com account in a new tab, click your name at the top right corner, and select Developers from the dropdown menu.
- Open the API token section and copy your token.
- Click on Trigger Event, select an option from the dropdown list (e.g., “New Account”), then click Continue.
- Start mapping the required details, such as the board and other trigger fields, then click Continue with selected record.
- Select Notion as your action app to send data from Monday.com.
- Click Select pages to choose which Notion pages Zapier can access.
- Click Allow access to authorize Zapier to interact with your Notion workspace.
- Select Create Database Item to add new entries to your Notion database automatically.
- Click the Action event, and select Create Database Item from the dropdown menu, then click Continue.
- Map the board data from Monday.com to the properties in your Notion database, then click Continue.
- Click Publish to activate your Zap and start automating your workflow.
