Integrating Monday.com with Gemini through Zapier allows you to automatically send board data to Gemini to generate summaries, responses, or AI-generated content.
- Log in to your Zapier account and open your automation dashboard.
- Click the Create Zap button at the top left of the page.
- Click the Trigger button and search for Monday.com in the app list.
- Select Monday.com as the trigger app for your automation.
- Click Select or Sign in and connect your Monday.com account.
- Enter your API key when prompted to authorize the connection.
- To get your API token, open your Monday.com account in a new tab, click your name at the top right corner, and select Developers from the dropdown menu.
- Open the API token section and copy your token.
- Click on Trigger Event, select an option from the dropdown list, then click Continue.
- Start mapping the required details, such as the board and other trigger fields, then click Continue with selected record.
- Search for and select Google AI Studio (Gemini) as your action app.
- Click Sign in to connect your Google AI Studio account.
- Head over to Google AI Studio to generate your API credentials.
- Click the copy icon to grab your API key for Zapier.
- Click Action Event and select the Gemini action you want from the dropdown list.
- Map the data from Monday.com to your Gemini prompt, then add any additional steps if needed.
- Hit Publish to activate your Zap and start automating.
