How to Integrate Monday.com with ChatGPT

Integrating Monday.com with ChatGPT through Zapier allows you to automatically send board data to ChatGPT to generate summaries, responses, or task descriptions.

1. Log in to your Zapier account and open your automation dashboard.
2. Click the Create Zap button at the top left of the page.
3. Click the Trigger button and search for Monday.com in the app list.
4. Select Monday.com as the trigger app for your automation.
5. Click Select or Sign in and connect your Monday.com account.
6. Enter your API key when prompted to authorize the connection.
7. To get your API token, open your Monday.com account in a new tab, click your name at the top right corner, and select Developers from the dropdown menu.
8. Open the API token section and copy your token.
9. Choose the trigger event New Item so the Zap runs whenever a new item is created on your board.
10. Start mapping the required details, such as the board and other trigger fields, then click Continue with selected record.
11. Search for ChatGPT and select it as the action app.
12. Click on Action Event, then choose an event (e.g., Analyze Text) from the dropdown list to define what ChatGPT will do.
13. In the pop-up window, you will be asked for your OpenAI API Key and Organization ID.
14. Open your OpenAI dashboard in a new tab, go to the API Keys section, copy your API Key and Organization ID, and paste them into Zapier to authorize the connection.
15. Click Action Event and select the ChatGPT action you want from the dropdown list.
16. Click Continue to move forward with your action setup.
17. Enter your prompt and map Monday.com fields into the message input.
18. Hit Publish to activate your Zap and start automating.
19. Review your completed Zap with Monday.com and ChatGPT connected and ready to work together.
