Using Zapier allows you to connect Monday.com and Airtable so new items from a Monday board can automatically create records in Airtable.
- Log in to your Zapier account and open your automation dashboard.
- Click the Create Zap button at the top left of the page.
- Click the Trigger button and search for Monday.com in the app list.
- Select Monday.com as the trigger app for your automation.
- Click Sign in and connect your Monday.com account.
- Enter your API key when prompted to authorize the connection.
- To get your API token, open your Monday.com account in a new tab, click your name at the top right corner, and select Developers from the dropdown menu.
- Open the API token section and copy your token.
- Choose the trigger event New Item so the Zap runs whenever a new item is created on your board.
- Start mapping the required details, such as the board and other trigger fields, then click Continue with selected record.
- Select Airtable as your action app—this is where your Monday.com data will land.
- Click Sign in to connect your Airtable account to Zapier.
- Confirm by clicking Grant access to finalize the connection.
- Choose the action event New Item so the Zap runs whenever a new item is created on your board.
- Map the fields from Monday.com to the Airtable columns.
- Click Publish once done mapping to turn on your Zap and start automating.
- Your Monday.com and Airtable integration is now successfully active.
