Use this interactive demo to learn how to connect Jira with your Notion workspace.

Quick summary

This walkthrough shows you how to integrate Jira with Notion by navigating to Settings, browsing the Connections gallery, and installing the Jira integration through your Atlassian account. Once connected, Jira issues and project data become accessible directly inside Notion.

Steps

  1. On your Notion main dashboard, go to the top-left corner and click your Profile.
  2. Click Settings to proceed.
  3. Click Connections under the Features section.
  4. Click Browse Connections in Gallery to view all available integration options.
  5. Find and select Jira from the integrations gallery.
  6. Click Add to Notion in the top-right corner to continue.
  7. Find Jira from the available selections, click its Install button, then log in to your Atlassian account.
  8. Click Accept to agree to the terms and grant the necessary permissions.
  9. Your Jira account is now integrated with Notion.

📌 Why this matters

Connecting Jira with Notion brings project management and documentation into a single workflow, eliminating constant context-switching between tools. Teams can surface Jira issues, sprints, and project statuses directly inside Notion pages, keeping engineering and product work aligned. This integration is especially valuable for cross-functional teams that track development tasks in Jira while planning and documenting in Notion. By linking the two platforms, teams reduce manual updates and maintain a single source of truth across their entire project lifecycle.
