How to Integrate Intercom with Facebook Messenger

Use this interactive demo to learn how to connect Facebook Messenger to your Intercom inbox.

Quick summary

Integrating Intercom with Facebook Messenger lets your team receive and reply to Messenger conversations directly inside the Intercom inbox. The setup takes just a few minutes using the App Store inside Intercom's Settings panel.


Steps

  1. Navigate to the left-side panel and click Settings.
  2. Select Integrations from the list of options.
  3. Tap App Store to open the integrations marketplace.
  4. Search for Facebook and select it from the recommended matches.
  5. Click Install Now to begin the installation.
  6. Tap Go To Settings under Getting Started, then log in to your Facebook account.
  7. Tap Continue to confirm your account and grant the necessary permissions.
  8. Find the Facebook Page you want to use, then click Connect Page next to it.
  9. Your Intercom account is now integrated with the selected Facebook Page, giving you access to Facebook Messenger conversations within your Intercom workspace.
