Steps
- Navigate to the App Marketplace in HubSpot by clicking the store icon in the top right.
- Search for MailSync in the search bar and select it from the results.
- Click the Install app button to begin the installation process.
- Click the Try MailSync button and create a MailSync account.
- After account setup, click the Connect SendGrid button to link your SendGrid account to MailSync.
- Paste your SendGrid API key into the required field, or click Generate API Key to create one.
- Follow the link to the Help Page and click through to the API generation page in SendGrid.
- In your SendGrid account, navigate to the API keys page and click Create API Key.
- Choose your desired access level (full or restricted) and click Create & View.
- Copy the API key generated by SendGrid.
- Paste the API key into MailSync and select the email event types you want logged on the HubSpot timeline.
- Click the Configure SendGrid button to save your settings.
- Once you see the success message, go to the Dashboard in the top right.
- Go to Connect HubSpot and click the Connect button.
- Choose your HubSpot account from the account selector.
- Click the Connect app button to finalize the authorization.
- Your SendGrid and HubSpot connection is now fully established.
