Highlighting text in Notion lets you draw attention to key information using background colors applied through the inline formatting menu. You can highlight any text in seconds by selecting it, opening the color options, and choosing a background color from the dropdown.
Steps
- Select the text you wish to highlight in your Notion page.
- When the pop-up formatting menu appears, click the "A" dropdown to open the color and highlighting options.
- Under Background, choose a highlight color — such as Orange background — to apply it to the selected text.
- Click elsewhere to deselect the text and see your highlight applied.
