Quick summary
Enabling LinkedIn private mode lets you view profiles anonymously so other users cannot see your name or photo in their viewer history. This setting is managed under Settings & Privacy and takes effect immediately once selected.
Steps
- Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner of the LinkedIn feed.
- Select Settings & Privacy from the dropdown menu.
- In the left-hand menu, click on Visibility.
- Under Visibility of your profile & network, click on Profile viewing options.
- Select Private mode to browse LinkedIn profiles anonymously.
- Once selected, your profile will be hidden when viewing others' profiles.
